WOLF!
Sound Installation

In Memory of Jon Horseman

The installation design contains three sections, ‘figurative spaces,’ evovative of differing compartments of a person.
1. Psychological Space- an accute angle;the brain and mind; Vynil Record/Playerl and a light bulb,
2. The Body- Physical containment and proprioception,clay/earth,aubible sound element extension from psychological space, .
3.The Soul- no apparent boundaries, sound as spacial measurement, live instrumental performance.

In reponce to the Peter and the Wolf narrative Additional narrative/ voiceover recorded within the vinyl sound element:
“A million typing hands: by pizzicato Strings
A heart monitor, represented by the bleeps and blurps of a polyphonic synthesizer.
The all-knowing and wise demigod: represented by the sounds of a “digital ether.”
The cries of a mother, by singers in a choir.
A ghost: by the sound the sound of a viola
The meandering and distant memory of boy named Peter, the solo violin.”
